Saw your message on roadfly... I have been around, lurking. Work has become quite the time eater - but I have been around.
Some of updates.... I got rid of the X5 - the lease was up, so I test drove the new 530i, with Sport Package - I was amazed and turned in my X5 on the spot for a Silver on Gray, with SP, PP, Xenons, etc... Great car, I love it.
I moved to Venice, now in home where I can actually wash my car in my own driveway - what a change... so nice to be able to do work and clean my car in privacy.
My wife's 325i just came up too, so we went back to the dealership to see about an X3. (She loved my X5 so much she had to have an SUV, but would think of nothing but an BMW - love that lady
). We tested an X3, and she liked it - so we ordered a Dark Gray on Black leather with every possible option but SP. It will be delivered next Monday. She is thrilled.
So since the last time I wrote, my garage has changed...
Hope you are all well. I've been around - contributing when I can. Not many people wondering how to do this or that on their X5 anymore - it has been out too long, I guess... I have been on another E60 forum checking things out on the 5 series.... But I am always around. Hope I'm still the forum's official tax guru....
