Thanks, guys. I will be going to the dealer tomorrow. Alas, they are totally clueless and believe that I "do" have functional Bluetooth and just don't know how to start the pairing process. I have a feeling I am in for a long morning as they struggle to activate my non-functional Bluetooth and then are clueless as to locate the right part to retrofit to bring it up to '05 standards.

I bought the car in Peabody, so I will try to diagnose the "cure" over the phone with them first. The dealer in Westbrook has historically been completely clueless regarding all makes and models, but I will undoubtedly end up there for service.
