I guess it's rare that someone actually listens and takes advice from the resident subject matter experts? Money wasn't the issue, getting the correctly configured computer was. Hell, I probably would have gone out and bought it this week had the first person not told me about Leopard  .

You're right, the colours are so much more vibrant with the black case. If you get a chance to, check both computers (black vs. white) out at an Apple Store, or CompUSA. The black case is $200 more, but I got mine through the hospital at which I work, so the pricing was the same as that of the white case. The only drawback I've found thus far, is all the fingerprints on the case. The one thing that works really well at cleaning them off, and getting your Macbook back to its original form, is the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.
