Sorry to wade in again, but my only accident was at 40 mph with a 100 lb buck. The hood on my E30 cumpled but my passengers and I did not feel the impact. Not only did we walk away from the accident, we drove away (no a/c and lights shot on one side but the radiator was fine). Since then I have only bought BMWs for my whole family. I hope never to find out how strong another BMW is in a collision but I would prefer to pay a little more for a car and use a little more gas in order to live a lot longer.
