They're testing under full-load for extended periods of time, plus these manifolds are much thinner than normal. While this wouldn't happen on the street, I'm sure it'll be this way on the track. If you really want to see something cool, you gotta see a heavy duty diesel engine during full-load breakability tests...imagine the compressor housing so hot that you can see the wheel spinning inside.
