The answer is yes, if you don't mind driving a CPO. There's plenty of '06's around for well under $60K. I'm driving a loaner 550i sport this week (the 530xi is in the shop getting some scratches removed). As Josh said, it's pedestrian. The Steptronic really dumbs it down. I would get more excitement out of it if it had a stick. But it has plenty of giddyap when properly summoned. Considering the number of 525i's and 530i's around, it's a wolf in sheep's clothing.
