Yep, using the MID to set aux heat via timer and set via direct switch on. Manual says I should be able to do HEAT but my display just comes up VENT

No remote with my deisel, that was an expensive extra, but aux heater is there under the bonnet, and you hear it run sometimes when starting engine on very cold days.

Can do the turn-off engine thing, but thats something different, just utilising engine heat after turning off engine. I need the aux heater to come on 30 minutes before we get in the car in the morning.
