Here's another one for you: I just installed Firefox. It permanently places a square icon on my desktop, and I can't get rid of it. Is there a way? In addition, in order to open it, it's a 2 step process. With every other app. I have in my Dock, a single click will open it, but with Firefox, you have to single click the icon first, and then you get a pop up window that looks like a Firefox planet with a couple of grayed out iconns next to it. You then need to double click on the planet to actually start the program. Is this how yours operates? If not, tips please .
