the dog is great, the camera on the other hand has a pretty bad dynamic range problem. black dog + sun soaked patio = trouble for almost any camera. If it meters for the patio, the dog is too dark, if it meters for the dog, the patio gets blown out.... tough lighting to take pictures in.
