Perhaps I was unclear. I am well aware that the only purpose they serve is to resist fade during track sessions. HOWEVER, I can also say as a matter of fact that the brake pedal requires FAR LESS travel before applying necessary braking force for regular driving. For example, the PCCB brakes seem much more grabby, and are applying considerable stopping force after only a few cm of travel. On my M3, for instance, I definitely have to depress the brake pedal a bit further.
You need to bleed your brakes and need more time and experience in a rear engine, RWD, car.
Yes, the M3 is easier to drive (as was my Audi S4) but gets very boring very quick.
You get used to having the nose lightened.. You drive a Porsche with the back wheels, not the front ones. Need stability? Step on the gas, it settles the rear end.

(Why not join us for a Skip Barber Race Weekend?) You'll learn to drive that Porsche the right way.
