Had there been any indication of trouble previously? I had a dead battery in my '02 recently. It turned out to be the "final stage resistor" in the climate control. The car was starting fine, but the a/c fan would run for a while every time I turned the car off. Have you noticed anything like that?

As for getting the vehicle started, follow the instructions in the manual. You will have to use another vehicle as the little charge box jump start dealies do not have enough power. Recommend you call AAA or look in the phone book for a service station that provides jump start service.
