I have a 2002 X5 3.0 Sport w/ 52K which I have had for about two months. I just had the Inspection II done today (for peace of mind) at an indi and the car checked out terrific.

My DSC, Brake & ABS warning lights have been on yellow and the indi said their computer checks everything out ok. The brake pads are brand new (BMW parts). He suggested it may be a sensor or relay and I should take it to the dealer to have them do their diagnostics.

I made an appointment (can you believe the earliest is August 18th) for service at the dealer. Both the indi and the dealer assured me it's ok to drive.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what is causing this and how I can remedy?
