I agree, but good driving skills are a good base but for those who are just bad at driving no matter what they do, or for the person who lacks common sense....ex: the 17 year old kid driving his mustang GT with high performance summer tires in the dead of winter, or the little old lady in her buick century who takes a corner too fast, etc...so just be thankful that the electronics saved them from crashing into you......and, for the brands that have customers that actually know how to drive, (BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, Aston, etc.) there's always the disable button for it....so just think of it as for those whose driving skills aren't up to ours....
(besides, it saved my ass once when I clipped a snow pile that I didn't see pulling out of my driveway, and the system went bezerk, didn't let me slide onto incoming traffic, which would have been baaad. )
