First, I don't believe that the Alpine CD changer will give you CD artist name / title info. It only displays cd number (disk 1 through 6 in the changer) and track number.

Have you considered going with an iPod solution instead of the CD changer? If so, I would suggest you go with the Dension IceLink Plus and the BMW Sirius kit. Both work just fine with Nav and both will display song information (artist and song name).
