I believe that's the point being made by many. How we're the young ladies he was talking about suppose to understand. For that matter how would anyone understand who doesn't listen to his show. For that reason alone one should exercise better judgement when refering to other people.

Just to clarify my intent; these posts were my attempt to call attention to the comments made by these individuals because i thought it interesting and comical that the news continues to report about so called High profile people who continue to pollute the airways with their potty mouths.
I really didn't have a position one way or another until i read a bit more about it. Having done so i have concluded that I for one cannot read minds or hearts, but it doesn't take a degree in rocket science to conclude that parody or not comments like these when made, no-matter who makes them are inappropriate. Weather it's Dave Chappelle, Rappers or "All in the Family" makes no difference.

If i want to really see racism i don't need to check out "Mayor Ray Nagin" parody. All i have to do is visit my memory and my experiences and I know that the need for this kind of so called humor by anyone including "Mayor Ray Nagin" is pointless, and unproductive.
Personally i hope that those who hear about these kinds of issues when they come up will resolve it in their minds and hearts to rid themselves of this kind of thinking by not supporting people perpetuate it. Will someone make another stupid comment like Imus did? Of course they will. Stupid is the course in life many wish to pursue and i for one am glad to know who they are, and equally happy to call em like i see em.
