I think I'll wait to see what happens when Apple comes out with your Apple/Intel system.....In a few years, the current Macs will not be supported by Apple....but that is a few years away and by then, everyone will get newer computers anyhow, etc.

So don't worry about getting a "lame-duck" Mac because it will be awhile before the newer Apple/Intel machines be out.

Also, next summer, MS will release Windows Vista operating system.
