At this point I am ready to try anything. Although it is not my car, and only get to drive it on some weekends and days, I find the trans Sluggish, Lazy, Boring and almost horrible for a BMW.
I have had the TSB software update done which eliminated the 3rd sticking on slight inclines, but now its to shift happy.

My personal car is a different German make and I feel that I have absolute control with my foot on when I want it to shift. Whether driving leisurely or spirited.

The loaners I have driven 325i and and 328i were like that too, being able to have your foot take control of the shift points. Certainly not on the X3 we own.
