Mine started doing that in December 2005 when I had about 90,000 miles on it. It was under warranty at the time, so the dealer gave me a loaner for the 2 weeks it took them to figure it out. They changed a bunch of things including the fuel filter, but I believe replacing the key switch in the steering column was what ultimatly cleared up the problem.

I didn't read all 11 pages of this thread, but have you tried replacing the key switch yet?
