During the switchover from 4.6 to 4.8 a few of them were produced 'standard' (ie NOT individual orders) in Estoril before the official change to Lemans. They are mostly Jul/Aug/Sept 04 builds... ive never seen any others.

Pictured above is one. I also know someone that owns one, who unfortunately has no interest in parting with. I've seen a small handful over the years. I am very familiar with BMW's so i've done my homework!
