The first shot shows the trunk latch on the bottom of the X5's rear hatch...


The second shot shows the hole on top of the tailgate that the latch locks into...


The third shot shows my latch with some black felt tape strategically placed in the areas that sit close to the metal housing inside the latch opening (in the 2nd pic) ...



No more CLUNKS!!


** By the way, is there supposed to be a 2nd rubber stopper on the right side of the latch, or are we only supposed to have the one on the left? (see pic 3) **
