I did not want to bug you guys with details, because the leak is only the major issue. Water is collecting on the floor in back right, and by collecting I mean a puddle. Also at the dealership I was told that I need a new axel output shaft, for this I am not sure if it is covered or not. There are also some other minor problems. To answer your question JCL, I do live in Vancouver, but I moved from California where I bought my X at Savage BMW in Ontario. I've took my X to BMW of Bellevue, and they think that the water barrier in rear right door is the cause of leak. So if nothing works out with the warranty, I'm looking in spending about $3-5,000, which is just an estimate. Anyway, I want to thank you for your interest, and I hope I get some of the things covered under warranty.
