Black, Hispanic, Caucasian is no the issue gang violence is the primary problem...although gangs are most commonly associated with different races...it has nothing to do with genetics...while there is a element to it that stems from poverty (remember a lot of poor white people live in rural areas as opposed to innercity areas which somewhat accounts for the diminished violent crime)...it has much more to do with location/education/gang affiliation then anything else.

As for a solution I think that is difficult to offer...short of imprisioning any and all gang members...or letting them kill eachother there are not many other options...another arguement on other countries violent crime rates being lower...how many of those countries have as divirse of a population as the united states?
