To build a circuit shouldnt be too much of a problem.
As you say,using the lock/unlock wire from the alarm then into a relay then to the mirror lift switch.Have a look on

Would be nice if the key could be progammed to do this but I cant see it as an option on the dealer car key programming sheet.
