I wonder if all of the UK dealers are getting a 3.0d SE dynamic as their demo built to that same spec. My dealer has one exactly the same and I went to see it on Wednesday as my car was supposed to be on the same transporter but failed to materialise.
I agree with ISUK that the spec could have been improved upon to sell the car more, again IMHO. I really like what I saw both from a sheet-metal design and a quality perspective. I too had an order for one of the first E60s and I walked when I saw the quality of the materials and bought my MB instead.
I.m not sure about the third row though. The seats are very narrow and there's only about 6 inches between the seat squab and the floor.
I'm now looking forward to Saturday to pick up my car.
