Hello, I am working on installing a sub in my X5 also. Did you find out if you are able to get a signal from the right side of your trunk compartment? Are you going to pick up the signal before it goes into your stock amp or after? Do you have a non-dsp 10 speaker system? I have had a hard time finding out information about this upgrade.
