After applying the cleaner with a soft cloth, the excess then needs to be wiped off with a fresh, dry terry cloth rag (a hand towel does nicely, then throw it in the laundry bin for washing). Once the surface is wiped the first time with a damp microfiber cloth, it won't feel oily any more.

The real secret to cleaning on an ongoing basis is to use a microfiber cloth.

Oh yeah... and Windex makes a nice spray-on marinade when doing souvlaki on the grill.
