That's a good question. Statistically, I'm sure that people will post more about problems. This can be rooted in a few different categories: "Is this normal?" "Hey watch out!" and "Misery loves company."
I hope you don't have issues either. I wouldn't want anyone to plunk down a large chunk of money on something, only to lose the "joy of ownership" to the headaches of having to get things fixed all of the time.
Unfortunately for me, I didn't read about the X5 until after I'd purchased it. If I had, I would have waited a year. When comparing this to other car forums I've been on (non-BMW), there is an appearance that there are more complaints than I've seen on the others.
But, alas, I have purchased the car. Now it's time to deal with the issues. There is a large part of me that is hoping that these things (which in my case are relatively minor) are things that will be resolved---and I can go on my way. But there is also the fear that I will experience the transmission issues, oil issue, etc.
