Just to show you how ludicrous of an idea this is, name some wars not including the US & Israel, where one of the countries involved was fighting a defensive war on the other country's soil. There have been hundreds of wars in history, so surely you can name a few where this was the case.

Yet with every invasion that has ever taken place, the invading country always claims they are doing so for defensive reasons. That is what Germany said when they invaded Poland, Austria and Czechoslovakia. That is what Saddam Hussein said when Iraq invaded Iran, and later Kuwait. That is what the Soviet Union said when they invaded Afghanistan. And the list goes on....

When you invade another country, you are on the offense, not the defense. The country you are invading is on the defense. That is how it works. If you want a good defense, then you keep your troops on your own soil and guard your borders and air space. Invading other countries never helps to protect your own country. If anything, it angers people and creates more enemies.
