You don't know much about the military, "live long enough"...hmm in Iraq the US forces have had one of the lowest casualties out of any conflict we've been in, especially any one spanning 'years'. 3500 troops in 4+ years of combat with over 100,000's on the ground....that is not a bad stat at all in warfare.
I love people that, to quote a few good men, rise and fall under the security the military provides and then question its method of providing it.
Again SSgt.......good luck, it is a hard job with todays insanely liberal PC environment (as has reared its head here), but there are still a majority of people that understand your job (just read all the responses).
