If I were an army recruiter, I would make a Beeline for the closest Home Depot.
I'm sure you would have no problems recruiting illegals to come work in the armed services. They work hard, obviously know how to work and cross a desert. And will take the jobs in the service that no one else wants.

This way we can kill two birds with one stone. Illegal's can get their US citizenship by serving in the military and the military will have a large stock of new soldiers..

Yeah, I know you can't really recruit that way for the US Army. But it would probably solve a lot of problems if you could.

P.S. - I think anyone who is in the US illegally should have the choice of serving in the military and becoming legal (five years sounds good.) No, I have not not served my country in the military, but both my grandfathers did, and their fathers before them and my uncle's, etc.. I have had family members who have served in every major US war (except Iraq) going as far back as the Civil War..
Let's open the borders as long as people are willing to serve.
