is not noisy for a diesel engine. Is very rafined in comparison with "normal" diesel engine, the torque is very linear and powerfull. The 3.0d (235hp) is just ok, for sporty performance we need a bigger diesel engine like 3.0sd (286hp) or maybe a new 4,5 liter diesel engine.
