It's not business software. It's the ultimate in consumer recovery software. Every Mac user worth his salt has it. And yes iTunes 7 does backward downloading. But why are you just hearing about this? If you follow update procedures you should have downloaded it already, and the update is what keeps you Mac in good shape. And yes IF YOU can access your previous Hard Drive it will transfer all your files including invisible one's which you cannot transfer manually.
