I would at least buy and carry one of the jump start/electric compressor boxes to keep in your car in case it goes at a time or in a place when you cannot get it "jumped".
If I suspected something was up with the battery or coming soon I'd just replace it from a good retailer. Should only cost between $65 - $95 and most places will even fit it for free and the warrant/price sure beats the dealer..
