Maybe your right. I'm not an Imus fan and am not familiar with his backstory. Maybe he did just get caught in a political tornado (that admittedly he started but was blown out of porportion.)

Maybe he's not a racist, maybe he's not such a bad guy. Maybe I'm wrong about my current opinion of him, but again, I'm not a fan so I don't have much to base my opinion on, other than what i've seen and heard.

I did have a knee jerk reaction to this issue and that knee jerk was not on the side of political correctness. It was on the side of my personal feelings about his comments which I really did not like. And I remember reading about the comment on this board, long before Sharpton, etc. got on the issue.

But you a fan and you probably know better than I do. I'm interested to see what will happen with him.
