My advice... Don't buy a Land Rover, they are at the bottom of the reliability list every single year, and they break all the time. I had a Land Rover once. Now as far as off road, they are incredible... Anyway, I would go with the Lexus GX ($46-47k base price), they look good,they are very comfortable and safe, perfect for a big family.
