I can't recall which company I sent a drive to a few years ago, but I was sadly disappointed. This was one in California, highly recommended in a computer mag I had just read. They called me a couple days later, and said every platter inside was shattered, and they couldn't get a single file off the drive. I lost some files that could never be replaced. I am now the KING of redundant backup.
