First of all thanks for the pictures. The first real static shot of an X5 with the 239's - fantastic.

I think the V spoke 239 wheels looks excellent and the star spoke 128 even better (both 21"). Only you can decide whether spending in excess of £3300 inc VAT is worthwhile.

In the UK I was informed by a dealer that the 21" wheels can only be purchased as an accessory i.e. you cannot do a deal to part exchange the wheel that the car will come with. You can always offset some of the cost by selling the originals privately I suppose. Personally I cannot justify the price and would opt for the 20" Y spoke 214 for a more reasonable £870 (on top of the dynamic pack). I'm sure a 21" replica wheel will appear very soon for a lot less money.

Taste and budget will decide for you. I like the 20" 214 Y spokes and would not have any smaller a rim, I love the 128 star spoke and the 239 V spoke looks great. I think you perhaps loose a slight perception of width with the 239's over the 128's but that would be nit picking and I can only base this on the two pictures you have provided.

Have you seen the double spoke 215 ferric grey wheels? ...they look awful.

One things for sure, it would be boring if all X5's rolled on the same wheels.
