Nice idea, esp the 5 yr 60K mile part of it...
I get a kick out of how the Stlr blurb says,
"10 Yr/100K Miles Powertrain Protection
Covers most engine & transaxle components",
yet the print below, obviously from Hyundai says,
"i.e. selected Engine and Transmission/Transaxle components".
And, nowhere that I could find, do they define or detail this
purported "Lifetime Warranty".
I bet it's an aftermkt job no one ever heard of...with the usual
pages of exclusions. Maybe OK, but it smells like typical BS Stlr
crap to me.
When we kicked Hyundai SUV tires in FL this past winter, the
sales punque said he didn't have the details of the oem Hyundai
warranty available, lmao! And, ever car they had on the lot had
$3Gs worth of absolfookinlutley worthless Dlr Prep Add-ons and a
"Mkt Adjustment" of $2Gs...the sales punque said they could probably
knock that down to a "selling price" of a grand over MSRP. I told
him to look for a service industry job instead of his current "sales
position".
No dis to Hyundai, as we are still kicking tars and in the hunt,
but some of these stlrs think we are all idiots and that everyone that
walks on the lot is simply concerned about the "monthly payment."
