Further Update...

I still cannot pair however I connectedt the aerial to the TCU. I was playing around with the Emergency function and accidently called '000' (911 in the USA). This worked and all the lights came on the NAV unit etc.!

So, the issue appears to be pairing related. I wonder if I need the eject box fitted to enable pairing????
