From the photo, it seems to be:
- an cd-changer enabler ibus module (the small black box with a red, black and yellow cable)
- a big pink cable to connect to the manual break.
- a big grey cable to connect - I assume - to the cd-changer audio in connector on the middle console (which, again, I don't have)

If I don't care about sound (mainly because I don't have the right connector, and I have sound through aux anyway), and I manually ground the break switch, would a 1260 give me video or not?

PS: I've tried to get my employee to pay me the VSM under a "in-car mobile communication" project, but the project was denied. The car is leased, so I can't pay myself almost €500 for a module for connecting the laptop to the main screen, and that's why I'm looking for cheaper alternatives. I'm sorry Tom
Cabling is audio/video, along with power and ibus, the connector uses your CD input leads for stereo audio. For a leased vehicle - the Dietz will be the way to go.
