I don't get it with the interior complaints. Sure, it's not as fancy as the interiors in other BMWs, but I really don't have a problem with it. As long as the plastics fit well and are put together very tight (and they are in the X3), I don't see a problem . The gaps are small, panels are aligned, stuff doesnt rattle or fall off, and it's very low-maintenance. Even some Toyota interiors aren't fabricated as well as the X3 IMO. Almost every US-made Toyota I've seen in the past number of years has had misaligned panels somewhere.
