The lure of XM for me is the same as cable, instant access to the content I feel like hearing... CNN, ESPN, PGA Tour, Hip/Hop, Classical, Neo-Soul, Punk, Jazz, Classic Rock, political talk, Yankee games, weather, traffic... not at the top of the hour, not after these words from our sponsors... NOW. And when my mood changes... bam... instant format change.

That is a very compelling reason to go with Satellite, man, no doubt. I'm looking forward to the way we'll be able to split off some commercial free channels, with maybe a wider playlist (deep cuts, artists who don't always end up on the radio, etc.) and hopefully we'll all benefit from the more intense competition and sharpen our products.
