Well here are the first pictures. My digi cam battery was not charged so I this is the first set of pictures.

I still have to align the double din as there are so many cables on the back that do not allow the head unit to lock in its place. This is the only think left to do and I will do it tommorow so I will also took pictures without the bezel so you can see how the double din is secured in place.

1st pic is the double din with bezel installed


2n pic is one of the two coil TV antenas. They are very thin and the reception is exceptional good. They are installed on the front windshield one on the left and one on the right. This is the passenger's side


3rd pic shows the two small black boxes on each side of the mirror which are the connectors of the antenas


4th pic is the drivers side TV antena


5th pic shows a view of the Alpine headrest monitors. Needless to say anything about the image quality. They also have infrared headphones in case the rear passengers would like to see something different than the front passengers or if front passengers would like to hear music.


6th pic shows the back up camera. This is the Pioneer universal camera installed on the position where BMW uses to install the OEM unit. I was afraid that it might be too bulky but finaly it's hardly noticed from the rear. It helps the fact that the car is also black. It is angled downwards so when reverse is engaged I am getting an image of my rear bumper to calculate where the end of the car is in relation with the obstacle behind the vehicle. I am also planning to hook a time delay relay so when I disengage the reverse gear the image will be maintained for 5 or 10 seconds in case I will have to make consequtive manouvers front and rear so the image will not switch all the time. Tommorow I will also post a picture from how the image I am getting on the monitor is
