Ah I can see what you mean. Passing on one-lane roads is particularly hairy in my X3 2.5i. When passing in a 4100lb SAV saddled to 184hp and a slushbox, planning to pass must begin 2 weeks in advance, and a WHOLE lot of luck that there isn't any oncoming traffic. I think I have more "failed" passes than successful ones on one-lane roads.

Now passing in my previous Lexus was a blast. Foot down, 2nd gear, redline, done.

Around here, people are paranoid about the speed cameras. Most people realize that just because a place says "Photo enforced" doesn't mean it really is. It's only photo enforced when there's a minivan on the side of the road, cones front and back, and a sign that says "Street Safety" painted on the side of the minivan.
