If you go with a Deere make sure you get the Kohler engine. I've had a L111 for two years. The mower is great, but my Briggs engine seizes and requires either creative timing with the key or has to be manually turned over once to start normally. It also as a serious vibration even though the blades look fine. I'm assuming a dealer could determine the problem, but both problems happened after the warranty expired and I don't have a convenient way to bring it in (plus it still works). I've performed all of the scheduled maintenance and my probs may be a fluke, but it still leaves a bad taste.

If anyone knows where my prob lies, pls PM me.
