Some more pics on how I secured the head unit in the dash for those of you interested to do the same.
I took this pictures last weeknd as I still had to fix the wires on the back of the double din unit so it could lock into place. There are so many wires back there so I had to remove the glove box and put my hand in the back and pull the wires on the side so the double din unit could find it's way and lock into the installation frame.
One way or another I had to remove the glove box as I had to put the rubber gromet on the iPod cable so I did this job last Sunday and by the way I took these pictures.
The installation frame came together with my Kenwood double din and is almost a perfect match horizontally between the two vertical plastick bulkheads of the dash. Vertically there is some allowance (I had to remove the upper plastic piece of the dash as well but I managed to cut it straight so I can put it back with a good cyano or epoxy glue in case I would like to bring the car to it's original state).
I used the bezel as a guide in order to position the installation frame in the correct place in order to be correctly alligned. Then I only drill 4 holes of 3mm each and used 4 bolts with nuts to secure it in place.
