exactly right, thanks. that setting is not easy to find, though. took mine to get software update because i hade a 'dynamic drive' failure. got it back yest, hit a pothole today, got the same error. last time i got it, i used bmw assist and bmw told me i likely needed a software update. so today after the failure, i shut off the engine, started it up again and the error was gone.
