Not that i really care anymore but it is NOT the WORLD series. Sure some of these players maybe the best on the planet but a WORLD competition is only when u have teams from other countries represented. But to call it the WORLD series is just typically american but that isn't necessary a derogatory comment. We're proud to call it the world series.
The typical american would respond with "but we are the best in the world" - looks to me like there have been some recent lessons learned in basketball and baseball
