Also, which cable is the best to use for the aux-in connection? (radiounit to car interior)
This is what I purchased from Crevier: 65-12-6-964-398. Get the OEM aux cable: 82-11-0-149-391

I think there is another, more desirable way to hook into the aux at the back I just haven't figured that out yet (for running dvd stereo).
You are correct, there is no connector behind the screen up front in you '02. You will simply connect the aux cable by attaching the 3 aux wire pins into the radio module itself. You remove the connector from the Aux cable and pull out the three wires to expose the three terminated pins.

Example:

See more Aux install pics here

Also see this article for pin locations: (Thanks to UCrewX5) http://www.xoutpost.com/articles.php?...icle&artid=128

Copied from that article:

NEW Small black plug: x13649 plug
Pin No. / Wire Color / Function
1 / Tape left +
2 / Tape left -
3 / Left Connection for AUX Input <------ Red (or yellow) Aux wire goes here
4 / Right Connection for AUX Input <------ Blue Aux wire goes here
5 / NAV / TV Audio +
6 / White-Black / Phone audio + Positive
7 / Tape right +
8 / Tape right -
9 / No connection
10 / AUX Input Ground <--------- Brown Aux wire goes here
11 / NAV / TV Audio +
12 / Brown-Black / Phone Audio - Groundv

Hope that helps.
