I was quoted abt US$850 for it over here as well. Problem is, I cannot find anyone who wants to repair mine, so I went ahead to get a new one. Its already installed, along with a new serpentine belt. Now I can take my time to source someone who can repair the older one and just keep it as spare. Thanks.
